2. - Description of the problem addressed by this project:
Each day the number of Street Childrenwho become adicted to the drug
Terakolin (glue) increases in our country. In our city of Trujillo, one does not need to go
to the slums to find these children they are right on the main streets in
the center of town, in the parks, or at busy intersections they congregate
in packs to mug padestrians or to rob bits off of stopped cars - antenas,
winscreen wipers and petrol caps - to exchange with unscrupulus adults for
glue..
This adiction quickly triggers a series of social and health consequences which debilitate the lives adicted children; they leave or are expelled from school, are treated as pariahs by sociaty, if they are not already living on the street their altered behavior soon gets them pushed out of their homes: the only road open to them is delinquency and prostitution, their only friends are fellow juvenile adicts. They sleep on park benches, under stairways, huddles together in abandoned rooms. Their only human tenderness is homosexual contact with one another, and if they sleep in the wrong places they are raped by adults. And erhaps the worst consequence of all is that Terakolin kills brain cells - irreversably.
In the poor city of Trujillo the social, medical and judicial infrustructure has no provision for assisting this growing sector of its population. Police often pick them up at night but there is no place to take them. There is one private facility in a nearby town (run by one of our partners) but it only accepts children who have been carefully screened and prepared ahead of time - in the past year it has accept only eight young adicts..
The
minor who must have between 11 to 16 years
could be received even though is
totally extasiado, considering like unicas rules that will not be able to
physically bother nor (violence) or psychologically the minors who participate
in the project as also they cannot enter no sharp class of drugs nor sidearms. The
institutions that work totally with this type of minors and who are member of
the support battalion will remain inviting to them to to receive permanent
support according to the work that follows.

Results:
Improvement of the aspects of
life in the minors of 11 years to 16 years of the locality of Trujillo.
Evitar that in the objective group the terokal consumption marks to the submersion in a drug addiction world
and delinquency carrying problems in the development of its lives in the
physical states (bad feeding) psychological and emotional.
Additionally as collateral beneficiaries the participation of
the institutions with its human teams of professionals, volunteers is expected
and communities organized according to particular tendency of work of each one
of the associations in agreement.
4. - Main activities and I put
Given to the characteristics of the project Home "Beloved
Child" the following activities
are due to make:

2. Control of Materials and Equipment in use in the House Home of the
Street.

3. Medical aid, Psychological and Legal in benefit of the participants of
the project as much preventively as very welfarely.
All the steps and activities will be subject to a consisting of main
activity the QUALIFICATION.
the goal fundamental to reach is the improvement of life
and acceptance of aid in the consuming minors of Terokal in a while to
begin the work search of restitution in the society. Parallelly it was obtained
that the citizenship of Trujillo has but citizen security.

of Trujillo such as It brushes Peru (), EMAUS, World of Children, Home of Hope, National Policia of Peru,
Center Victory.
c) c) Qualifications of the equipment
The equipment in charge of the project House Home of the Street, will be conformed by professional
psychologists, social, educational, medical assistants, nurses, lawyers and volunteers with high professional quality and specialization.
