Volunteers in Peru helping the poorest of poor children....'Hogar De La Niña, Belen', is a semi public orphanage
for girls
in the city of Cajamarca, Peru. The 62 girls mostly go to school for
a half day in the mornings. Those who stay behind are too young or handicapped.
The volunteers of Bruce Peru will attend the girls after school. In the AM
they are scheduled to be with our street children a block away from the Belen.
There are two rest periods during the day, and English classes for an hour in
evening. The day ends at 8 or 9:PM, depending on the
academy's schedule.
